December 6, 2008 -
This past October the biggest
names in the meetings and
hospitality industries came out
to celebrate the “Grand
Premiere” and addition of
Hollandia International’s
Morpheus beds in every room of
the Westminster Hotel in
Livingston, N.J.

In Old Hollywood fashion, the
ballroom of the Westminster
Hotel was decked out in a style
reminiscent of the 1930’s.
Guests were ushered into the
party by a long red carpet fit
for a star, and received a hotel
key card for a shot at opening a
room to win a Hollandia Morpheus
mattress. Black and white silk
screen prints of late Hollywood
icons hung from the ceiling of
the lounge. Feathered
centerpieces in tall black urns
were prominently placed
throughout the cocktail lounge.
Crystals scattered on every
table reflected off of the disco
balls hanging from above.
Cigarette girls walked around
serving Champagne punch to
guests as a baby grand piano
played old familiar tunes in the
background. In the main
ballroom, Hollandia sleep
systems were covered in
luxurious linens for guests to
lounge and look on as two
professional ballroom dancers
took to the floor. At the end of
the night, Brenda McAuley, a
meetings and event planner with
Ricoh, had the lucky key card
that won her the Hollandia
Mattress.
Hollandia International is the
first company to completely
outfit a U.S. hotel with luxury,
customizable sleep systems, and
the Westminster - the
independent, Four-Diamond luxury
hotel - is the first in the U.S.
to offer Hollandia’s sleep
systems. The hotel exclusively
features the customizable
Hollandia “Morpheus” latex
mattress in all of the guest
rooms, while 10 suites offer
Hollandia’s complete adjustable
Platinum-LuxeTM Signature Sleep
System.
