Association (SSA) today
announced that
I Care Sleep, LLC, the
manufacturer of two
state-of-the-art product lines,
has joined the organization
which helps educate consumers,
retailers and manufacturers on
“The Future of Sleep.” "As the
specialty sleep category
continues to grow, we are
thrilled to welcome I Care Sleep
to the Specialty Sleep
Association,” said Dale Read,
president, SSA. “This
demonstrates the company’s
commitment to the innovation and
technology that represents ‘The
Future of Sleep.’ I Care Sleep
Products, a separate business
unit of Hickory Springs
Manufacturing Company, produces
the Earthcare and i-care lines.
Earthcare uses natural latex and
Preserve™ by Hickory Springs, a
bio-based foam, as core
components. The i-care brand
utilizes memory foam.

create sleep products that
really help people is exciting,”

the SSA has succeeded in
attracting other new members to
its group, such as Sealy,

Natura World, Hollandia, Lilly
Management, Comfortaire, and
Latex International, among
others.
Founded in 1995, the Specialty
Sleep Association (SSA) is a
national not-for-profit advocacy
and education association of
retailers, manufacturers and
suppliers who develop,
manufacture, market and sell
innovative, new technology
mattress and bedding products
including viscous-elastic memory
foam, latex rubber, air,
flotation, gel, adjustable,
futons and convertible beds,
(green) natural, all-natural and
organic beds made from soy,
bamboo, wool, 100% cotton as
well as bed frames, pillows,
sheets, comforters, duvets, body
pillows, fabric guards and more.
