Leggett & Platt® Consumer
Products Group is
getting a facelift. At the
Spring 2009 High Point Market,
L&P Consumer Products Group will
debut its new showroom look and
location in the International
Home Furnishings Center,
Commerce Building, space 603.
“We are committed to the High
Point Market,” said Rob Woods,
president of L&P Consumer
Products Group. “The new
showroom underscores that, and
it also allows us to tell a
better product story to our
customers.” The company’s former
showroom was in the Main
Building of the IHFC.
While most businesses are
scaling down, L&P Consumer
Products Group is investing in
the future. The new showroom,
designed by Beeline Group, a
Leggett & Platt company, will
have an expanded footprint (from
13,000 sq. ft. to 21,000 sq.
ft). “The expanded space will
allow us to have special areas
for youth bedding, our full line
of fashion beds, bedding support
products, adjustable bed bases,
home textile products and a more
efficient layout overall,” said
Woods.
The new showroom uses earth
tones and natural fibers to
create a more contemporary, yet
intimate space. Gold and umber
walls and floors are
complemented with natural
seagrass wall coverings and
modern glass signage.
“We were excited to work
alongside a fellow Leggett &
Platt company,” said Scott
Tiedemann, president of Beeline
Group, whose company designed
the new showroom for Leggett &
Platt Consumer Products Group.
“Our goal was to visually
illustrate the relationships
between the L&P master brand and
several sub-brands offered by
CPG. From the wall colors to the
lighting to the graphics and
signage, we executed everything
so as to better define and
enhance their mission and brand
promise.”
