mainly known for its role as one
of the largest suppliers to the
home furnishings industry, is
aligning its direct-to-retail
sleep accessory brands and their
supporting organizations under
the management of
L&P’s Consumer Products Group.
CPG will act as Leggett &
Platt’s retail arm in the sleep
industry with a focus on helping
retailers market sleep-related
products and accessories to
consumers and improving
retailers’ performance.
CPG who has been managing the
design, development,
manufacturing and marketing of
sleep accessories will now also
oversee the operations of the
Adjustable Bed Division, which
previously was managed by L&P’s
Bedding Group. In addition to
brands such as Leggett & Platt®
Home Collection™, Fashion Bed
Group™ and Southern Textiles™,
CPG’s brand portfolio now
includes Adjustables™ by Leggett
& Platt®.

Most of L&P’s divisions
supply directly to the
manufacturers in the industries
they serve; however CPG will
continue to focus on supplying
directly to retailers rather
than to manufacturers.
In addition, L&P’s Adjustable
Bed Division’s acclaimed sales
training team, who used to be
dedicated exclusively to
training adjustable bed
products, will now be
responsible for the training of
all CPG products. This powerful
sales training team, chartered
to help improve retailer
performance, will be a key
element in making CPG the sole
retail arm of Leggett & Platt in
the sleep industry. As an
industry leader, L&P will
continue to strive to build a
stronger relationship with their
customers.

systems, to consumer marketing
collateral, to sales aids and
training as well as performance
