announces an innovative solution
to worries about bed bugs, dust
mites and other allergens that
contaminate mattresses.
Effective June 1, 2010, all
Natura mattresses will be
treated with Natural Silver
Technology. The addition of this
anti-bacterial barrier to
mattresses will provide a new
degree of naturally healthy
protection for consumers.
“While our latex mattresses are
naturally resistant to microbes,
some mattresses are natural
breeding grounds for microbes –
and this is another level of
protection our customers are
telling us they want,” said

“Last year we introduced Natural
Silver Technology in our
NaturaProtect line of mattress
protectors and pillowcases and
adding it directly to mattress
covers is another way to protect
our customers from the health
risks of microbes in the
mattress – naturally.”
Natural Silver Technology, an
antimicrobial, natural
silver-based solution, is so
safe that it’s used in medical
dressings to naturally speed
healing. This colorless,
odorless solution applied to the
fabric is hypoallergenic,
non-toxic and a proven winner in
the war against bacteria. It’s
also bacteriostatic, which means
that not only does it eliminate
microbes on contact, among them
candida (yeast), e.coli, avian
