Natura World Welcomes Russell Banks as Plant Supervisor at Canadian Plant

August 17, 2010 - Natura World Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Russell Banks as plant manager of Canadian operations. He will report directly to Mr. Ralph Rossdeutscher, President and founder of Natura World Inc.

Mr. Banks joins Natura from Waterloo Bedding, where he spent six successful years. During his tenure, he increased quality and on-time delivery while reducing inventory and stock-outs.

“We’re looking forward to building on our positive momentum with Russell leading our Canadian operations and Jim Van Lear heading up our new Texas factory,” said Ralph Rossdeutscher. “Russell is incredibly detail-oriented and a team leader – must-have strengths that we’re confident will support our growth as an international company.”

In the past year, Natura has announced partnerships with Shaper Image and HGTV and now has retailers in the UK, the Middle East and shortly, Australia. A strong team at both the Canadian and US plants is now in place and the company is forward facing and focused.

About Natura World: Founded 15 years ago by the Rossdeutscher family, Natura is committed to nurturing healthy bodies, souls and planet through healthy sleep systems. By providing a nourishing night’s sleep through sustainable, earth-friendly materials and manufacturing, Natura truly is where nature meets nurture. It’s not a trend. It’s about aligning personal values with everyday actions. A good night’s sleep makes for happier, healthier people and ultimately a better planet.
