January 19, 2011 - Leading natural and organic
bedding producer,
Natura World, today announced it will launch its
newest assortment of organic bedding at the upcoming Las
Vegas Market this January 24 to 28. The company added
seven organic latex mattresses featuring the latest
comfort technologies and sustainable materials available
in the industry today. Designed with certified organic
cottons and wools, all-natural latex and coconut-latex
blends, the products respond to customer demand for new
options in organic bedding in the higher end price
scale.
“Each of our carefully researched new designs
features the highest quality materials available that
are organic, renewable and sustainable to deliver the
kind of support, health and comfort that consumers want
today,” said Natura World President Ralph Rossdeutscher.
“We have experienced steady sales growth in our organic
offerings and coming into this market, wanted to show
the full breadth of offerings available at what we
believe are the best retail pricing in the industry for
organic mattresses without springs.”
The company enhanced the construction of the
mattresses in several ways, which included the use of
organic liquid latex in place of glue to bind the
mattress’ inner layers. Organic cotton thread replaces
Kevlar thread in the new models, and all feature
Natura’s soft and luxurious certified organic stretch
knit cottons.
Stylish finishing touches have been added to all the
beds, including handles on the side panels which are not
only useful for positioning the bed but also add an
element of luxury. Adding a fresh, rich look to the
mattress toppers are new rope welts using 100-percent
cotton cord and tape. Natural wood medallions have been
added to the foundations to represent its
artisanal-quality hardwood design.
The first two mattresses in Natura’s Organic
collection (priced $1,999 to $2,199 in queen at retail)
will have Coconut/Latex, natural Dunlop and Talalay
latex layers, along with four pounds of organic wool.
Next is the third mattress ($2,899 at retail in queen),
which features a coconut blend with 50-percent organic
latex, a certified organic 7-zone Dunlop latex core,
natural Talalay latex toppers and six pounds of organic
wool.
The next two models are both priced at $3,499 retail
in queen size and offer a choice of firmness. They have
a coconut blend with 50-percent organic latex, a
certified organic 7-zone Dunlop latex core, natural
Talalay toppers and six pounds of organic wool, as well
as natural convoluted latex in the quilt.
To top off the collection are two Super Luxury models
featuring the same coconut blend and organic latex mix,
and upgraded to seven pounds of organic wool, silk and
cashmere. These are priced at $4,499 retail with a
traditional foundation and $5,499 retail with Natura’s
exclusive wood slat foundation, both are quoted in queen
sizes.
Natura customers will find enhanced service in 2011,
as well. The company recently moved to dramatically
increase its production capacity and efficiency in North
America. In July 2010, the company opened a new
478,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Wichita
Falls, Texas, increasing overall production capacity
while decreasing shipping times. The company’s
U.S.-based production joins its continued manufacturing
operations at its Cambridge, Ontario facility.
