Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) is presenting a
Las Vegas Market seminar for retailers and manufacturers
concerned with the potential pitfalls of recent
government actions regarding the marketing of “organic”
and “green” products.
Titled “Make Sure ‘Organic’ and ‘Green’ Work For You and
Not Against You!,” the seminar led by prominent industry
experts is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m.
to noon on the 16th Floor of
World Market Center Building B, World Forum. The
Specialty Sleep Association, the premier advocacy
organization promoting the category of specialty sleep,
is presenting the event together with the World Market
Center Las Vegas.
Participants will be updated with the latest information
regarding government actions on green marketing claims
by
Worden Associates, Inc. President Vicki Worden and
Control Union Certifications Outreach Manager Lori
Wyman.
Worden is a sustainability consultant working with
manufacturers, retailers, and trade associations on the
development and launch of green products and services.
Her expertise includes environmental standards and green
building, and she is a former judge of the White House
Sustainability Awards.
Wyman
of Control Union Certifications conducts organic food
processing and fair trade audits. She specializes in
textiles, and she previously served as the Education and
Outreach Specialist for the Organic Trade Association.
