The Specialty Sleep
Association (SSA) has become
a high-traffic destination at
the World Market Center and the
upcoming show should be no
different. Space is still
available in the SSA permanent
15,000-square-foot space at
Showroom 1350 in Building C for
the September 14 – 17 Fall Las
Vegas Market. Those interested
in securing space should contact
Tambra Jones, executive
director, SSA, (559) 868-4187 or
(559) 676-8639,

“At our February 2009 show, we
were thrilled to have over 350
retail stores visited our SSA
showroom with over 520
individual buyers visiting our
28 exhibitors,” reported Dale T.
Read, president, SSA. “When we
opened the doors of the market,
we really didn’t know what the
actual attendance results would
be given the state of our
economy. However, there was a
steady flow of stores with, in
some cases, multiple buyers. The
energy in the SSA showroom
proves how our new technologies
are what dealers and retailers
are looking for. The diversity
of products offered attendees
new options for the future of
sleep.
In fact, some top bedding
manufacturers have recognized
the success of the SSA Showroom
and have taken out space in that
area in addition to their own
showrooms. Organic
Mattresses, Inc. (OMI),
America's leading manufacturer
of organic mattresses and
bedding, will be located in the
SSA showroom while also housing
products at a separate showroom
in an effort to secure increased
traffic.
In addition to OMI, the
September WMC SSA showroom will
include such manufacturers as
Sedona Comfort, Magniflex,
Chili Technology,
Pacific Coast Feather,
Glide-A-Way, Electropedic,
Tyler Retail Systems,
ZedBed, Hollandia,
Universal Bedlegs,
Eclipse/Eastman,
Hudson Industries and more.
Memory foam, latex, air, gel,
water, adjustable, new spring
technology, natural and organic
bedding products continue to
fuel the growth of the bedding
industry.
