July 8, 2011 - Retail buyers can look to the
Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) membership for
innovation in bedding products at the upcoming Las Vegas
Market, Aug 1 – 5, with many product intros on display
in the 20,000 square-foot SSA showroom, located in space
C-1350 at the World Market Center.
Planned highlights by SSA exhibitors include:
Arason Enterprises: The studio-style bed, a
low-cost alternative to the Murphy bed, is available in
queen and comes complete with a mattress that folds away
into its cabinet, which has a dark cappuccino finish. It
has manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1,599.
Chili Technology: The company’s ChiliPads™
regulate the surface temperature of the consumer’s
mattress—to assure that she sleeps comfortably all night
long. Now Chili’s also offering ChiliBeds™ that
incorporate the same features into a line of TempXL
memory foam mattresses. Both products have Chili
Technology’s patented cooling and heating temperature
control systems built right in.
De Courcy & Company: The new Hevea Grove™
collection, a tribute to the company’s European
heritage, offers the sleeping comfort of latex, with its
naturally inherent elasticity, breathability, and
hypoallergenic properties. In addition, Hevea features
natural cover materials (cotton, Belgian linen, and
silk)—all designed for platform beds. Fabricadabra:
Introducing silk Ikat pillow covers from Uzbekistan,
including hand-woven models with natural dyes and
features like bottom zipper closures—all in a range of
attractive colors (priced from $45 to $55).
Glideaway: The Bliss, a premium 12” waterfall
smooth top memory foam mattress, is one of the newest
products in the sleepharmony line by Glideaway. It
features a plush polyester knit top panel with seamless
quilted waterfall cover, and boasts 6” of ventilated
memory foam with air chambers to dissipate body heat,
along with an additional 6” of high density foam for
long lasting support. All sleepharmony mattresses are
produced with CertiPUR-US® certified foams.
InnerSpace Luxury Products: The new InnerSpace
Roll Cart is constructed of solid wood in a classic
style with six drawers and an assembled size of 13.5"w x
16"d x 26"h. The Roll Cart, which is UPS shippable, will
have a show-special price of $44.15.
