Simmons Bedding Company,
a leading provider of
premium-branded bedding
products, announced today the
appointment of Tony Smith as
President of U.S. Sales and
Simmons Canada. Mr. Smith
reports to Simmons CEO Gary
Fazio and is responsible for all
U.S. sales functions as well as
the company’s Canadian business
unit.

impressive track record and
proven success across all facets
of the organizations with which
he has worked. I look forward to
his many contributions as a
member of the Simmons executive
leadership team.”
Most recently, Mr. Smith was
President and CEO of Fort
Lauderdale-based International
Bedding, a $125 million bedding
manufacturer with five factories
and more than 600 employees.
Prior to International Bedding,
Mr. Smith spent 22 years at
Sealy, serving in various roles
including vice president of
sales and regional vice
president. He was later named
chief operating officer of Sealy
Canada.

Canada president, will report to
Mr. Smith, and Dominick Azevedo,

sales, will be leaving the
company.
