The Specialty Sleep Association
(SSA) Green Initiative
conference takes place on May 8
at the Hyatt Regency Coconut
Point, Bonita Springs, Fla.
The SSA Green Initiative is a
process designed to identify,
define and standardize how
mattress manufacturers and
retailers label “green” and
natural sleep products.
The ultimate goal will be to
create a certification program
based on existing, accepted
standards and to define terms
such as "green,” “natural,”
“all-natural” and “organic."
