Introductions
Simmons’ specialty sleep
product guru Anne Kozel and
Scott Smalling , who is the
President of the Simmons
Specialty Sleep Division have
informed BEDROOM Magazine that
Simmons is launching a new
ComforPedic™ collection at this
upcoming Las Vegas Furniture
Market. The new specialty sleep
line combines technology and
luxury with modern aesthetics to
create a better memory foam
mattress. The line features a
combination of the brand’s
Advanced NxG™ Memory Foam and
NxG™ Memory Foam with their heat
dissipation, quicker recovery
and consistent comfort benefits
and includes 360 Gradient Edge™
Support, which firms up the
sides of the bed for support
while sitting and extends the
sleeping surface of the mattress
all the way to the edge. All
models are available in firm or
plush feels and feature a layer
of latex for added comfort,
while select models incorporate
Progressive Support Latex for
superior support and pressure
relief. In addition, the line
includes Transflexion™ Comfort
Technology, a patented process
that removes false loft from the
mattress’ base foam, helping to
ensure a consistent comfort
throughout the life of the
mattress and minimizing reasons
consumers return mattresses.
Each bed in the collection
features a stretch knit fabric
cover with a modern geometric
design, and dealers may choose
from a bold “chocolate” or more
conservative “fawn” color for
the beds’ luxurious velour
border fabrics.
Simmons is also launching a new
ComforPedic Loft™ model
featuring GelTouch™ technology
at Las Vegas Market. Nestled
within a layer of NxG™ Memory
Foam, the GelTouch layer is
positioned in the center third
of the mattress, where it
provides a cooling sensation
along with greater
conformability. Simmons
originally introduced GelTouch
technology into its memory foam
offerings in 2008 with the
ComforPedic™ Capri™ model, and
this introduction makes GelTouch
technology available to
consumers at a more affordable
price point.
Beautyrest Black 2010
Introductions
Simmons’s marketing executives
further announced that the
company is introducing a new
Beautyrest Black™ collection at
the August 2010 Las Vegas
Furniture Market, and this year
the collection is divided into
two distinct
categories—Beautyrest Black and
Beautyrest Black Beyond™.
Beautyrest Black models provide
an unforgettable sleep
experience by combining unique
product aesthetics, 850 density
Variform Advanced Pocketed Coil™
springs and layers of superior
comfort foams like NxG™ Memory
Foam and Progressive Support
Latex. Beautyrest Black Beyond
