Jensen Beds – Sleep Pioneers Since 1947
Along the coast of southeastern Norway, just outside Oslo and right by the powerful Drammen fjord, is where the story of Jensen begins. Since 1947, their aim has been to help people wake up fully rested. They believe you should never be held back because you are tired – and this is reflected in their commitment to sleep quality through design, materials and production methods that deliver a premium experience on every level.
“We design and build beds that make the most of your sleep, so you can make the most of your day.”
Jensen beds are engineered around how the human body and brain actually work during sleep. Their development team combines expertise in physiology and sleep science to design solutions that reduce the need for you to wake up and change position during the night. If your bed doesn’t provide the right comfort for your individual needs, the brain will interrupt sleep to move your body and relieve discomfort. This is why Jensen beds are customizable in multiple ways.

Making Sleep Personal
Personalization has always been at the core of Jensen’s design philosophy. With a customized choice of firmness on each side of the mattress, Jensen’s beds offer tailored comfort for even the most discerning couples.
Jensen offers an Adjustable Base option on every model in its North American collection, including a more practical version of the increasingly popular Flex-top configuration. Customers can also add Jensen’s exclusive Exact Comfort adjustment, which provides fine-tuning of the bed’s Lumbar Support at the push of a button. Exact Comfort allows each side of the bed to be individually adapted over time as comfort preferences and needs change. This enhancement transforms a Jensen bed into a fully personalized sleep system—responsive not only to different sleepers, but to how their bodies evolve over time.
Headboards are sized to match every Jensen bed model, and customers can choose from a variety of styles upholstered in matching or contrasting fabrics and patterns. Tailored options are available on a special-order basis, allowing designers, retailers and end consumers to create a cohesive look that fits any bedroom decor. Stylish leg options are available in a variety of finishes to complete the look of each Jensen Bed.

Sleep Comfort Like No Other – Built to Last.
Jensen’s patented Original Zone System features a unique, contouring spring support unlike any bed previously available in North America. The mattresses are reversible and easy to maintain, thanks to the modular design of Jensen beds. Every support base, including the adjustable models, features a genuine box spring construction, which enhances mattress performance and comfort, while extending the life of the bed.
Also exclusive to Jensen sleep systems, the top mattress provides a light, airy comfort layer that is easily reversible as well as interchangeable for hygienic benefits. All of these time-tested product attributes ensure longevity, and a 25-year warranty supports the lasting value of a Jensen bed*.

Handcrafted in Norway
Jensen still produce beds where everything started—in the small Norwegian town of Svelvik. While technology and automation have made production more efficient, it’s the people who make Jensen’s beds what they are. Skilled workers are involved in every part of the process—either directly with their own hands or by overseeing machinery. From quality-checking materials to careful assembly and packaging, nearly 35 individual production steps are required to create a single Jensen bed.
Hilding Anders
Presided over by the second generation of Jensen’s founder, Jensen Beds is a subsidiary of Hilding Anders, Europe’s largest bed manufacturer. The Hilding Anders group includes many of the most prestigious and highly respected mattress brands in Europe, with Jensen producing the largest volume of beds within the group.

Jensen’s introduction to the market is being led by bedding veteran Michael Nermon, who has worked on the manufacturing and retail sides of the business in his 40 years of industry experience. Jensen plans to establish an effective sales process that insures dealer success. That mission led Jensen’s CEO Jan-Trygve Jensen to Michael Nermon, who worked with Jensen back in the 1990’s to help establish the company’s position as Scandinavia’s leading producer of adjustable beds.
