The Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) showroom at the Las Vegas Winter 2020 market is bracing for a busy winter market. “We have 34 exhibitors in our showroom for the January 2020 market,” says SSA Executive Director Tambra Jones. “Eight of them are new to our showroom.” Jones points out that at the last winter market showroom traffic exceeded 550 individual retail buying groups or individual retail businesses. “The retail attendance does not include the hundreds of sales reps, suppliers, manufacturers, industry leaders, associations, and other industry people who use the SSA space to make contacts and to conduct business.” Jones also confirms the continued trend of growth among online retailers, direct ship businesses, private label companies and vertically integrated businesses who check out the SSA showroom. “We do see the changes in the mattress marketplace reflected in our attendance showing an increase in diversity in both buyers and exhibitors.”
The seven new exhibitors at the winter market include Assured Comfort® Hi-Lo Adjustable Beds, Cyme Tech Inc., Lifestyle Comfort, PineTales, Inc, Slumba Mattress, Tonight Sleep Labs and ZBD Bed. Added to the 27 existing SSA exhibitors these seven new brands expand the choices and selection of sleep technologies and solutions featured in the SSA showroom. Assured Comfort Hi-Lo Adjustable Beds will showcase three different each offered in twin, full, queen and split-king size “Made in the USA”, all with quiet, remote-control articulation. New at the January show, Cyme Tech Inc., will be showing their Stellar Home Furniture line for the very first time at the Las Vegas market. PineTales, Inc, whose slogan is “We Know Sleep!” will present something that is distinctly different in the SSA showroom. This new company prides themselves in creating and marketing “America’s finest Buckwheat and Millet Hulls Pillows”. According to PineTales, their pillows come either in a unique modern and distinctive design and / or they are “offered in exclusive fabrics that are not to be found with any other natural pillows on the market.” The fourth new player on the show floor is Slumba Memory Foam Mattresses and Pillows, who are known for launching “mattress in a box” in Australia over ten years ago. Slumba, who believes that consumers should be able to obtain comfort and support at an affordable price, provides “extraordinary mattresses and pillows, but also offers personalized customer service.” Slumba promises its customers “the right fusion of support, breathability and alignment” to give the sleeper the comfortable night’s rest they deserve.
